長(zhǎng)城有二十多個(gè)世紀(jì)的歷史。它的第一部分是在春秋時(shí)期建造的。戰(zhàn)國(guó)時(shí)期，有更多的城墻被用來(lái)保衛(wèi)不同王國(guó)的邊界。正是在秦朝，秦國(guó)把帝夫的發(fā)福部分統(tǒng)一為一個(gè)帝國(guó)。為了把敵人趕出他的帝國(guó)，秦始皇把所有的城墻連在一起。于是，長(zhǎng)城誕生了。
